A Message From Charles F. Harper

The Commercial Bank of Ozark

CBAA has been a God-send to me and to our bank.  Coming from out of state to our bank in Ozark, brought more than a few unanticipated challenges.  In my new "home state", I knew just over ten people, and they were "kin folks" either by blood (2) or marriage (8).  That left me with a very small network and certainly no one outside my immediate market.  Then I discovered CBAA, it was then named ICBAA, and almost immediately my network began to expand.  Not only did our bank benefit from the fine educational programs, but I was benefiting from the advice of my new found peer group friends.  I quickly discovered, the more I became involved with CBAA the more I learned and brought back to our bank.  Every meeting I attend, I glean ideas that work their way to our bottom line and more than pay the expenses I incur.  Just three weeks ago I attended a meeting and picked up tips from two of my "network" friends that will make or save our bank around $30 - $40,000 next year.  I guess you could say the return on my CBAA investment is paying both monetary and friendly dividends.
