On May 30, 1989, we opened our bank with ten employees and $2 million in total assets.  We are now a half billion-dollar bank with over 140 employees in eight locations:  three in Pell City, and one each in Ragland, Lincoln, Heflin, Ashville, and Southside.  Metro Bank continues to build on the philosophy of friendly, caring bankers that work to meet the needs of our communities.
